I have a home handbag business and make all kinds of bags, backpacks, etc, etc etc and after trying just about every kind of zipper on the market over the years, I found these to be my favorite. I love that I can easily cut the zipper to whatever length I need, the zipper is easier to sew over than most on the market and the zipper pull glides very smoothly along the teeth. My only complaint is I wish they came in more colors.

This make your own zipper worked very well for a king size duvet I was making. No need to add snaps or velcro. Zipper is lightweight but durable.

I purchased this for use in sewing a tote bag and it worked out perfectly. The zipper is nice and sturdy (as labeled “heavy duty”). I had never used the product before and the instructions seemed a little vague but I soon figured it out.

On-line description is very vague regarding this item. Does not specify zipper size (#5), or tape material contents. This is important when working with other fabrics that may / may not be compatible. Had I not used this product before, I would not know these things. It is a great product, especially when you have projects requiring a longer zipper than retail suppliers stock. I frequently purchase longer zippers and cut them to desired lengths. The ‘Make-A-Zipper’, saves waste.
